Lampe Biomaterials Group

The Lampe Group is interested in big questions surrounding diseases and injuries of the central nervous system (CNS), performing highly interdisciplinary work at the interfaces of biology, chemistry, engineering, and neuroscience. Biomaterials are the tools we use to understand and model neural development, brain disease, and injury response, while also laying the groundwork for neural regeneration. We have a particular interest in glia, especially oligodendrocytes and their progenitors.
